Milemarkers Therapy will provide a variety of interventions designed to maximize the functioning of persons with developmental disabilities. Services may include, but are not limited to: habilitative therapies, special developmental skills, behavior intervention and sensorimotor development.
A referral must come from the Division of Developmental Disabilities and a Pre-service Orientation shall be conducted. The member will then have their choice of a direct care worker that matches the needs of the member and must be agreed upon mutually. The teaching strategies must then be developed within 10 days, for the ISP team to review and then sent to the Support Coordinator with 30 days. Quarterly reports will be provided to the Support Coordinator, member, members family and the members representative. Milemarkers shall maintain proof of hours worked by the direct service worker by means of time clock with time reports. This service shall be provided by a MT-BC Board Certified Music Therapist.
